Is the Argentinian left-wing really “anti-capitalist”?

An “oversight” of the Left Front in its electoral campaign:
their dangerous silence about the capitalist restoration in Cuba

A socialist who doesn’t clearly tell the working class who are their allies and who their enemies, who doesn’t call to conquer the unity of the international working class to defeat the imperialist capitalism, will never be able to enter the exploiters’ parliament to denounce this rotten system and call the working class and the exploited to destroy it with their revolutionary fight. Unfortunately, the Left Front hushes that the Castrist bureaucracy acted, with their theory of “socialism in a single country”, as a true “Berlin Wall” in the American continent for 50 years, guarding the US imperialism’s back preventing the advance and victory of the worker and socialist revolution in their backyard. In the same way that it hushes the leap given by Obama and the Castro brothers in the capitalist restoration in Cuba. The Castro brothers, the army and the Cuban PC have become, associated with Wall Street, the new bourgeoisies in the island, the new Batistas, that with 500 thousand layoffs (as a part of a plan to leave one million and a half workers in the streets), restoring the right of property and of inheritance, liquidating the monopoly of foreign trade, associating with MNCs in the key branches of business and getting richer at the workers’ expense, are liquidating the largest conquest of the Latin American working class, which was the Cuban worker state (where the revolution had expropriated the bourgeoisie, had conquered education and health for all the exploited and the nationalization of the foreign trade). With the ALBA –the free trade market between Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Colombia and Ecuador- goods which are dealt and negotiated by the MNCs and the bourgeoisies of the region freely enter and leave. This has given an unusual strength to the new Cuban bourgeoisie, who handles, supported on the army officers, all the businesses and is the one that sells the health and education models as projects and application packages to the bourgeois governments of Latin America.
It isn’t “anti-capitalist” to fail to alert the Argentinian working class of this situation and not call it to fight against the new Cuban bourgeoisie emerged from the bowels of the Castrist bureaucracy and against the capitalist restoration in Cuba. Entire generations support the Cuban revolution and gave their lives for it.
But the Castros were the ones that –usurping the authority given by the Cuban revolution- together with Chavism and the Bolivarian bourgeoisie expropriated and aborted –as in the Chilean revolution in 1973 and the Central American revolution in the 80s, among others- the revolutionary processes opened in the continent, as in Ecuador in 1997, Argentina in 2001 where Fidel himself came to say “it is the moment to produce, and then Nestor will distribute”, or Bolivia in 2003-2005. They snatched the victory from the masses and kept the power of the imperialist pirates. At the same time, by supporting Obama, Castroism and their allies they prevented the revolution from breaking out inside the United States, the heart of the imperialist beast. Saving capitalism in that way, the Castrist bureaucracy won the “right” before their Wall Street masters to recycle into a bourgeoisie and negotiate now with the worms from Miami (which are an elite in North American soil, owning 120,000 major companies, and now will invest their dollars in the island to exploit the qualified Cuban labor for $18 dollars a month).
The masses from Argentina and the entire continent need health and education such as the ones conquered by Cuba with the revolution. To avoid losing these conquests we have to make a second Cuban revolution, which will be Latin and North American or will not be. As we fight against the same enemies in the entire continent. Out with Wall Street! Enough of workers with misery wages in the United States, La Habana and the entire continent!
But to carry on this combat, which is a single one from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, it is first needed to defeat the restorer Castroism and their Bolivarian allies. Those who don’t pose clearly these issues aren’t “socialist” or “anti-capitalist”. The Left Front, by not delimiting itself or denouncing the policy of Castroism, ends up holding a dangerous policy of class collaboration and protecting the backs of the new restorer bourgeoisie.

The Trotskyists from Workers’ Democracy [Democracia Obrera],
fighting under the banner of Trotskyism and the lessons
of the rupture with the MAS in 1988

The PTS’ leadership, returning to the nest…
under the tutelage of Gramscism

Anyone who claims to be “socialist” and “anti-capitalist” can’t remain silent before the tragedy that is being prepared for the Cuban working class and from the entire continent. To do so equals to reissue the MAS’ policy when in 1989, trying to place Zamora as a congressman, didn’t say that Stalinism (with which they shared an electoral front) was restoring the capitalism in the USSR and others Workers’ States in Eastern Europe. Our current, which had already broken with the MAS in 1988 and set up the TBI that founded the PTS, claimed at that time that “the little finger of the revolted proletariat in the USSR is worth more than a thousand congressmen and hundreds of revolutions in Argentina”. The current leadership of the PTS, now inside the Left Front, has forgotten and hidden this issue.
As they have already forgotten that in the 90s the ones who founded the PTS called not to vote for the MAS, since they didn’t denounce the CP and Honecker, the biggest bureaucrat in East Germany transformed into the biggest bourgeois of the unified Germany. But these aren’t casual oversights; the fact is that the PTS leadership has broken years ago with every mooring in Trotskyism, passing with arms and groundings to defend Gramsci’s theory. Hence their silence, which is nothing more than to cover the capitalist restoration in Cuba from the eyes of the Latin American masses.
Being the continuity of the fight given in 1988, we the militants of the LOI-CI, who never abandoned the banners of Trotskyism and the struggle to re-found the Fourth International, in this 2013 we claim that: THE LITTLE FINGER OF THE NORTH AMERICAN WORKING CLASS, PREVENTING THE OUTRAGES OF THE US IMPERIALISM IN THE PLANET, AND THE LITTLE FINGER OF THE CUBAN WORKING CLASS SUPPORTED IN THEIR CLASS BROTHERS FROM THE ENTIRE CONTINENT, TO PREVENT THE CATASTROPHE OF THE SETTLING OF THE CAPITALIST RESTORATION IN CUBA: THEY ARE WORTH MORE THAN THE BENCHES THAT CAN BE CONQUERED IN THE PARLIAMENT OF THE DECREPIT AND FILTHY ARGENTINIAN BOURGEOISIE.
