January, 2012 CHILE Call to all Chilean and world workers and popular organizations fight to drop all charges, stop repression, massacre, intimidation, torture and imprisonment against the working class, the students and the poor peasants! Let’s stop the attack of the Piñera’s government and the pinochetist military civic regime! On last January 4th, the Investigation Police raided, in an absolutely illegal way, the house of the comrade Felipe Espina Melgarejo, who is high school classmate of the youth “Against the Current”, who participated in the heroic fight developed in 2011; he was delegate from his School, Anexo Indira Gandhi of La Florida commune, which was occupied for several months. That day a white van arrived at his home. Two civilians went down from it and asked for him. When he went out, the individuals shown their IDs of the Armed Froces and identified themselves as members of the Investigation Police; then they threated him, giving names and surnames from his other classmates; they told him that he was being suited by Piñera, Zalaquett and the City Major; they also said that they knew that he was the student leader of his school, and ACES delegate, naming his participation in several activities and fighting measures that were made by the student, workers and popular movement in the last year, and because of that he would be imprisoned. In response to the silence of the comrade and his resistance to give any information, the detectives instigated him to go to the district attourny’s office the next day. As it is seen, this raid and how police acted were so reactionary that not only brings back to the memory the “best” times of the DINA and the CNI, but also goes even beyond since it is outside bourgeois legality, since they proceded without any court order or citation to enter into his house. The regime administrated by Piñera today can act this way since there is a temporary backward within workers and students movement that was diverted from the streets and the strikes that marked the political situation in 2011 have stopped. Therefore the bourgeoisie feels strong and in that context applies mass dismissals in the public servants, it raises Transantiago’s ticket, alongside with the triplication of the anti-evasion measures, it announces that the gas and the essential items price in general will rise, this way it will lower the wages. Meanwhile, 3 students are still imprisoned in the claws of the civic-military regime and several in house arrest, alongside with the tens of political prisoners that the murderous Piñera government holds; at the same time that in the university and the schools those who dared to talk about public and free education are chased and expelled, hundreds of registrations were cancelled and blacklists are of common use, etc. Besides, the government and the Concertation just approved the “Hinzpeter law” which condems to anyone who wants to occupy a school again, while Piñera has just announced the application of the pinochetist Antiterrorist Law and the State Inner Security Law. That is how the government and the regime, lackeys of imperialism, answer the workers, students and peasants who we held a huge revolutionary fight facing the imperialist monopolies that plunder our nation. It is an offensive commanded by transitional against the ones who, in defense of the workers wage, i.e. to conquer the public and free education and all our demands, we fought for the “renationalization without compensation and under workers control of the cupper” This attack that is hold in Chile is part of the worldwide imperialism plan and its lackey governments to make the working class and the world exploited pay the costs of the economic crisis, and as an answer to the revolutionary combats that are developeding in big parts of the planet. That is how the European and US imperialist bourgeoisies answered to the movements of the “Indignados” and “Occupy Wall Street”, trying to evict them from the occupied plazas with a strong repression leaving with hundreds of prisoners as the result of it. All the governments servants of imperialism are doing the same in Northern Africa and Middle East, as in Syria with Al Assad slaughtering thousands and thousands of rebel workers and from the exploited masses, like the Egyptian bourgeoisie and the murderous generals did in the Tahrir Plaza at the end of December 2011, by murdering tens of workers and exploited masses who occupied such Square, while the Libyan National Transition Council and their Ghadafist generals seek to disarm the rebel masses that defeated Ghadafy. They do the same in Mexico, where in the State of Guerrero the murderous police of the regime of FTA shoot down 2 high-school students –as the Piñera government did murdering the comrade Manuel Gutierrez the last year-. Down with the pinochetist Anti-terrorist law and the State Inner Security Law! Out with Piñera! Down with the civic military regime of the murderous pinochetist army, the right, the Concertation and the CP! Down with the pinochetist 80’s constitution! Down with the FTA!
