In Chile and Argentina, one single struggle for the Truth and Punishment to all the murderers of Juan Pablo Jimenez, for the Acquittal of the oil workers of Las Heras and the release of all the political prisoners of the world

Flor: Good evening comrades. I’m going to be short, for the main characters to speak soon. In Las Heras, almost a year ago, oil workers were condemned for fighting against the imperialist oil companies… They were sentenced to jail for years and for life. There is a brave Commission that stood up, which is the Commission of Condemned Workers, Relatives and Friends of Las Heras. It is promoting December 12th since last year, because they are convinced that what is happening to them is not an exception but is what happens to the workers of the world when we come out to fight. It’s the same that happened to comrade Juan Pablo Jimenez and to all of us, at the hands of these governments that are at the service of imperialism and they massacre us, kill us, persecute us or sentence us to jail. The comrades of Las Heras are promoting December 12th as the International Day of the Persecuted Worker. From the Committee for Truth and Justice for Juan Pablo Jimenez we support that international day of struggle and we hope it develops in many countries of the world. The idea is to have a communication with the comrades that are here online and they also wanted to tell us about their fight from Las Heras. We will speak with Claudia and Omar, from the Commission of Las Heras.

Juan Carlos Jimenez: Well comrades. First of all I want to salute the comrades of Las Heras that have fought for a fair cause. That’s the privilege of being a worker. That’s the privilege of having comrades in Argentina that are supporting the cause of my son. It’s a privilege for us to have all of you here. Omar Mansilla: Good evening. My name is Omar Mansilla (…) For me, it is an honor to be able to talk to you, to talk to the father of Juan Pablo. Let me tell you that here in Las Heras we were sentenced because we fought against the tax on the incomes and against outsourcing the work. That’s why we were sentenced, some of us to 5 years in jail and we have also comrades sentenced to life in jail, precisely because the fight we waged. As I said, because of the outsourced worker, feel just as Juan Pablo. We were condemned by the oil companies because we confronted them, and we were sentenced to jail for years and for life by the Videlaist Tribunal. This Videlaist tribunal condemns us for fighting for our rights and leaves all the murderers of the people to walk free. That’s why we are fighting together against the Videlaist justice in Argentina and against the Pinochetist justice that kills the worker fighters and leaves our executioners to walk free.

Juan Carlos Jimenez: Comrade, from here I send you a warm hug of the whole family of Juan Pablo and of all the comrades that are gathered here in these moments. We are all proud of you, comrades, because you are fighting for something fair. Unfortunately, justice always turns against the worker. Comrade, a warm hug and an applause from here to you.
