We recived your report from Marikana (South Africa). You make a presice description of this heroic fight. We salutte your work and deep observations.
The mine is surender by the fully armed police and also are the gung men of the Stalisnit of COSATU: they are all watching out the “managers”. But on the side of the 30.000 workers who strike the mine, there are 3000 heroic fighters who guarantee the rights of the working class, who are the strike committee and the strike picket. The are the ones that guarantee the deocracy of the working class. these defend the working class from the countrarevolutionary military bands and the mercanaries of Stalinism, and the make the burden of the working class, who are the ones who take with their lungs and arms all the wealth of Africa in exchange of the death salaries.
The South African workers are in a death and life fight. Even more, for the worker to keep living in this conditions is to die litle by litle. Dozens of thousands of mine workershave said “Enough” of hundred of year of exploitation.
It is a revolutionary strike where the socialpeace is broken. We are in front of a real class war weather the workers get R12.500 or they kill the management. This is the feeling of the workers and their brave strike committee.

Today, far from resolve it, the strike of the mine workers of Marikana has strenghth it. The great contradiction that this fight has is that the workers feel strong, in a death and life fight agaisnt the bosses and agaisnt the union bureucracy, which the workers hate. However, their rage have not reached the lesson that the fight agaisnt the union bureucracy and agaisnt the bosses is the fight in the entire South Africa and the South of Africa and the entire workers.
Precisely, the most dangerous of their fight is the isolation that the leadership imposed them, startig with NUM, its Stalinist leadership, the bureucracy of COSATU and all the ones who talk in behalf of Socialism at world level. The shameless and selelrs out of the left English social imperialist, they were unable to call for a single action in London city agasint the owner of Lonmin. This is really seriously as the English working class will pay with their wages, work and body a defeat of the mine workers of Lonmin. Victorious bosses agaisnt the working class of the oppressed nations, after they will smash their own proletarait. We could not forget that this has happenes to the US working class, after the US imperialist pirates killes in Iraq and Afghanistan.

However, “help yourself and you will be helped” say the proverb. The strenghth of the strikers gives time for this fight to generalice, as it is doing- to other mines of South Africa and the working class in the region. The South of Africa deserves to burn up agaisnt the “Khadafy” agent of the transnational that plunder the region and super exploited the workers. The call to the unity of the working class of Lonmin, it is the key.
The color workers did not realise, because their exploiters does not want the worker to be concsiess of and that they have huge allies in the imperialist powers. It would be enough a call of the Afro-American and colour workers if USA to fight with and also all the inmigrants chased in Europe, to threat with a uprising of the colour workers around the world. And it would be enough that with million of workers see that the fight of the mine miners of Lonmin, in their fight, to creat to the Marikana workers the best conditions, no only to win but also to kill the bosses and the managers, that it is the least this slavers deserve.
